Incase you missed it in issue one we've up-loaded the Exclusive and Un-edited Shut interview with pro skateboarder, Louie Barletta.
1. O.k. as far we know, you dream of a pink-elefant-trainer-career. That sounds weird, but quite understandable. It´s this chasing-rabbits- phenomenon, right?
The biggest virtue of mankind is phantasy. You seem to have a lot of it. Where does that come from? Or are you just fucking around with interview-questions that you don´t like? have you ever heard of the ether bunny?? april is just around the corner! better beware of the zubbie darts! i hear the bunny is hungry this spring.
2. I´ve never been to San Jose. How is it? What´s worth mentioning? What comes after skateboarding? Some little Louies, house, dog, plants, a circus-career...?
san jose is a mistical euphoric place full of unicorns and rainbows... oh yeah, marc johnson and jerry hsu too! no i guess it is just like any other place except it happens to be where all my friends live... as for after skating, there is no after, this isn't a 9:00 to 5:00 job. it is a lifestyle. as for a family, i don't know, how would you feel if i was your dad? yeah, scarry thought.
3. Louie, are you a nerd?
maybe. i am totally into some weird stuff like certain times in history.
4. Is skateboarding a real job to you?
no. not usually. it only feels like a job when i have to be "business lou" and talk to office people.
5. What was the most invaluable advice given to you (from your parents)?
don't eat yellow snow... and don't pee into the wind.
6. O.k. Let´s talk a bit more about skateboarding. Do you think this sport changed within the last years?
yes, it's gotten a few years older
Why did you decide to add old school moves like boneless, fingerflips and no complys etc into your bag of tricks and actually combine them with modern tricks?
what is modern? i did my first nollie heelflip noseslide 12 years ago.... is that considered a new move? i just learned backside bonelesses a month ago... is that an oldschool move?? a number is just a way to catagorizize to the simple mind. you are too old to learn, you are too young to know... is fire old school? is water new school? how about bottled water? a trick is a trick like water is water. the only thing that defines old school versus new school is the packaging.
7. Did YOU influence it?
no, i don't think so. i wish!
8. How about a world-leading-position for you?
yes please. i think i can run some stuff a bit better than alot of the people in charge right now.
9. Ever thought of God?
yes. he goes by a bunch of names.
10. Do you have fears?
What kind? i fear no beer!
11. How is life in The States? Are you patriotic?
the states are the land of the free, we just have to pay for it with our freedom!!! no, i'm not patriotic.
12. Are you really visualizing unicorns and rainbows when you have good thoughts about skateboarding?
ha! no, no rainbows. just a lot of good times in the sun with my friends
13. What do you see when you think about fishing?
the little mermaid.

15. How do you spend the Millions of Dollars that you earn?
buying world war 2 helmets and knives on e-bay
16. What makes you mad? And what makes you sad?
mad, hmmn. business people tryint to tell me how to skate. what makes me sad? spending time dealing with business people when all i want to do is skate
17. What´s with your haircut?
i have a trucker hat and when my hair starts to get into my eyes i put it on and cut around it!
18. Is there anything you take dead serious?
nope. life isn't worth living all stressed out.
19. What do you do in your freetime? shoot guns, eat meat, work on cars, golf... typical american stuff. just joking. i don't know,i just like riding my bicycle around town.i also do alot of reading books, writing, and other dumb artsy stuff.
20. Are you the funny guy on parties? Tell us about the most riduculous and hilarious thing you´ve ever done on a party?
yes, i always bring baloons and make baloon sculptures. i can make a dog, a hat, a horn and a gun.
21. Are you into drugs?
hell no. drugs ruin lives... i guess i lied about getting mad. i get mad and sad when i see my friends doing drugs. that shit sucks.

me, welll honestly people think i'm a loud outgoing person, who always is making jokes. but in reality when im around people i don't know i am totally quiet and keep to myself.
24. Hey, you have three wishes to make the world a better place. What would that be?
wish #1: free health care for everyone. wish #2: free airplane flights anywhere you want to go wish #3: no more pointless war
25. Let´s talk about food. Are you one of those healthy sporty dudes, or more the sort of a beer drinking Skateguy?
no. no health shakes, or veggie burgers. i'm more of a candy and soda guy.
26. Women. We have to talk about women. We assume you have many groupies. How do deal with that?
pale skin, black hair with bangs, yes please!!!
27. America is known for this very typical „boy-meets-girl“ thing. That´s pretty big for you guys. Do you stick to those funny rules?
Like "No-fucking-on-the-first-date“ or "No-sex-until-marriage“ ?? yeah, thats typical american idology. but like i said, i'm not very patriotic.
